This 1999 fifty cent piece was issued as part of the 'Memories' set in the Royal Australian Mint's Masterpieces in Silver collection. The reverse features the W. H. J. Blackmore reverse design used on the 1918 Sixpence. The obverse features the Ian Rank-Broadley effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II with legend "ELIZABETH II - AUSTRALIA 1999 - FIFTY CENTS".
